Panama City and Canal Tour (full day) and Transfer to Tocumen Airport
8:45 am – Return flight to Panama City, arriving at 9:30 am
Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the hangar and take you to the most attractive and interesting places in the capital city, including the ruins of Old Panama (Panama Viejo), which were sacked by the pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. You will visit the Colonial City, or "Casco Antiguo," built in 1673, with its Spanish architecture, where the French workers, led by Ferdinand de Lesseps, who initiated the Panama Canal project, had their homes. You will stroll through the narrow streets, plazas, and public parks where Panama's history is still preserved, including Plaza de Francia. You will also see the Paseo de las Bóvedas, the Church of San José with its beautiful Golden Altar, the Arco Chato, and the Cathedral, all of which are part of the World Heritage Site.
At lunchtime, I would enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant located in the Old Town.
Tour of the Caribbean Coast and return to Panama City

A half-day boat trip to Linton Island, an abandoned island inhabited only by a family of spider monkeys. The captain will take you in an inflatable boat to the "Tunnel of Love," a natural passage through the mangroves near Linton Island.
After sailing through the "Tunnel of Love," you will meet our guide and driver at Linton Marina to head to the Historic City of Portobelo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, founded in 1597 as a port city. Portobelo was fortified to prevent constant attacks by privateers and pirates: William Parker in 1601 and Henry Morgan in 1668.

This is followed by a visit to the local church, home to the famous sculpture of the Nazarene, or Black Christ. The tour then continues to the Agua Clara Visitor Center of the Panama Canal.

After a long but exciting day along the Caribbean coast, we will drop you off at your hotel in Panama City.
